How to convert JPG to PDF
- Add your images. Drag them into the box above, or tap Select images. On a phone you can pick straight from your photo library.
- Arrange and adjust. Put the pages in order, rotate any sideways photos, and choose A4 or US Letter.
- Convert and download. Press Convert to PDF and download your file.
Best quality, smallest file
When a JPG doesn't need rotating or resizing, PDFWisely places the original image in the PDF without re-saving it. That means no quality loss, and the PDF is barely larger than the photo itself. PNG images keep their sharp edges and transparency.
Phone photos are often 3–5 MB each. If the PDF is for email or an upload portal, tick Make the PDF smaller, or run the result through Compress PDF.
Tips for professional-looking scans
- Photograph documents in daylight, flat on a dark surface, with your phone held parallel to the page.
- Crop to the page edges before converting. Shadows and table edges look untidy and add file size.
- Choose A4 for the UK and most of the world, and US Letter for the United States.
- The PDF won't be searchable, because photos contain pictures of text. Use OCR if you need to search or copy the words.
iPhone photos (HEIC)
iPhones often save photos as HEIC. Safari can convert HEIC images directly. Other browsers may not be able to read them. If an HEIC photo is marked ⚠, either open this page in Safari, or change your camera setting to Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible so new photos are saved as JPG.
Frequently asked questions
Is JPG to PDF free?
Yes. There's no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on the number of images.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Your browser builds the PDF on your device. Your photos are never sent to PDFWisely.
Can I convert PNG, WEBP or GIF images?
Yes. JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF and BMP all work. For GIFs, only the first frame is used, because PDFs can't hold animation.
Why is my photo sideways?
Phones store rotation as a hidden setting, and PDFWisely applies it automatically. If a photo still looks wrong, tap ⟳ to rotate it before converting.
Can I put several images on one page?
Not at the moment. Each image becomes its own page.
