Common uses
- Send only the pages that matter. Extract the signed page or the relevant section instead of the whole contract.
- Separate a scanned bundle. Split one long scan into individual invoices or receipts using ranges.
- Meet upload limits. Remove unneeded pages, then use Compress PDF if the file is still too large.
- Reorder pages. Use Extract pages and type the pages in the order you want, for example
2, 1, 3-10.
Private by design
Your PDF is split inside your browser and never uploaded. That makes it safe for contracts, statements and other confidential documents.
Frequently asked questions
Is Split PDF free?
Yes. There's no sign-up, no watermark and no page limit.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text, images and layout stay unchanged.
Why do I get a ZIP file?
When the result is more than one PDF, the files are packed into one ZIP so you can download them all at once. Open the ZIP to see the individual PDFs.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?
Not directly. Remove the password first with the password you were given, then split the file.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything happens on your device.
